– E-commerce operators or aggregators.
– Individuals supplying services via e-commerce aggregators.
– Persons providing online information and database access from outside India to recipients in India who are not registered taxpayers.

Documents For Gst Registration In Meghalaya

For Sole Proprietorship:

For Partnership Firms:
– PAN for the firm and all partners
– Partnership deed
– Proof of business address and banking details

For Private/Public Limited Companies:

Exemption from GST Registration

Exempt supplies consist of three categories:

1. Supplies Taxable at ‘NIL’ Rate: These are supplies that are taxed at a 0% rate.

2. Wholly or Partially Exempt Supplies: These are supplies that are exempt from CGST or IGST as specified in notifications under Section 11 of the CGST Act or Section 6 of the IGST Act.

3. Non-Taxable Supplies: Defined under Section 2(78), these are supplies that fall outside the purview of taxation under the Act, such as alcoholic liquor for human consumption.

No tax is required to be paid on these exempt supplies, and input tax credit related to them cannot be utilized or set off against tax liabilities.

*It is important to note that zero-rated supplies, such as exports, are not considered supplies taxable at a ‘NIL’ rate.*
