PROCESS

  • Self-Declaration: Declare the information provided in the application as accurate and complete. Agree to comply with the rules and regulations governing MSMEs.

  • Acknowledgement: After submitting the application, you should receive an acknowledgement or reference number. Keep this number for future reference and tracking of your application status.
  • Processing and Issuance: The concerned authority will process your application and verify the details provided. Once approved, an MSME certificate or Udyog Aadhaar certificate will be issued. The certificate typically contains a unique identification number and other relevant information about your business.

VALIDITY

  • The Udyam Registration (previously Udyog Aadhaar) certificate, which is the MSME registration certificate, does not have an expiration date. Once obtained, the certificate is considered valid for the lifetime of the enterprise, provided there are no changes in the business structure or other relevant details

  • However, it is important to note that while the certificate itself may not expire, there may be requirements for updating or revising the information associated with the MSME registration. For instance, if there are changes in the business name, address, or other key details, it is generally recommended to update the registration accordingly.
