Who Needs to Register for GST Registration In Amaravati Andhra Pradesh?

4. Casual Taxable Persons – Anyone engaged in seasonal sales or temporary businesses (such as stalls or pop-up shops) must register for GST, regardless of turnover.

5. Voluntary Registration –Businesses can opt for voluntary GST registration even if they do not meet the mandatory threshold. Previously, voluntary registrants had to maintain their registration for at least one year before canceling it. However, recent updates now allow voluntary registrants to surrender their registration anytime.

GST Registration Validity in Andhra Pradesh A regular GST registration certificate has no expiry date and remains valid until canceled. GST registrations for casual taxable persons and non-resident taxable persons are temporary and come with a specified validity period.

PAN Requirement for GST Registration –A PAN card is mandatory for obtaining GST registration for individuals, proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, companies, and trusts. However, foreign companies and non-resident individuals are exempt from the PAN requirement.
