Application Submission: The applicant should submit an application to the Indian Institute of Packaging, including all relevant information and required documents.

Sample Testing: The sample will be sent to an authorized laboratory at the IIP office for testing against specific packaging parameters. This sample should be dispatched using courier, transportation, or marketing channels.
Certification Issuance: Once the testing is complete, the department will issue a Test Report and the UN IIP Certificate. A UN Mark number will also be generated for the applicant during this process.
