2. Interstate Trade: Entities involved in the supply of goods from one state to another must register for GST in Karnataka, regardless of turnover.

3. E-commerce Platform: Any person supplying goods or services through an e-commerce platform in Karnataka must obtain GST registration, irrespective of turnover. This is mandatory before starting an online store.

4. Casual Taxable Person: Individuals providing seasonal goods or services through pop-up shops or temporary stands must register for GST in Karnataka, regardless of turnover.

5. Voluntary Registration: An organization can opt for voluntary GST registration. However, once registered voluntarily, they cannot cancel their registration for up to a year. After the latest amendments, voluntary GST registration can be surrendered at any time.
