With an OEM registration, manufacturers can oversee their sales activities, update product listings, and ensure smooth communication and authorization processes. Benefits of the OEM panel

Exemption from QCI Vendor Assessment: Many MSMEs are granted exemptions from the GeM vendor assessment process on an individual basis, such as those holding NSIC certificates. These exemptions are provided based on various eligibility criteria.

QCI Vendor Assessment: The purpose of the vendor assessment is to ensure the quality of products. This assessment is conducted by the Quality Council of India (QCI) in two phases. Sellers seeking assessment must pay a fee of ₹11,200 plus 18% GST.

  3. Pan Card of the Company
  4. Authorized Signatory’s Identity Proof (Aadhar, Passport, etc.)
  5. Authorized Signatory’s Address Proof
  6. Bank Details (Cancelled Cheque or Bank Statement)
  7. Authorization Letter from the Company (if applicable)
  8. Product Catalog or List of Products to be Registered
  9. Any Additional Documents as per platform guidelines

Procedure for Obtaining OEM Panel Registration

  1. Visit the Official Platform Website: Access the GeM platform or the relevant registration portal for OEM registration.

  2. Create an Account: Register as a new user by providing basic company details and creating login credentials.

  3. Login to the OEM Panel: Use your credentials to log into the OEM registration section of the platform.

  4. Fill in the Registration Application: Complete the OEM registration form with accurate details about your company, products, and authorized signatory.

  5. Upload Required Documents: Submit all necessary documents such as company registration, GST, PAN, authorization letter, and other supporting documents.

  6. Verification Process: The platform conducts a verification of the submitted documents and details. This may involve manual checks or automated validation.

  7. Await Approval: Once the verification is complete and your documents are approved, you will receive a confirmation of your OEM Panel registration.

  8. Access OEM Dashboard: After approval, you can log in to your OEM dashboard to manage resellers, product listings, and other platform features.

  9. Start Managing Resellers and Products: Utilize the OEM panel to authorize resellers, update product catalogs, and monitor sales activities.
